Crazy Horse Leather was born from a family tradition — a love of leatherworking passed down from my father and refined over many years of hands-on craftsmanship, beginning more than 25 years ago in our Amish leather shop in Potter County, Pennsylvania. Now based in Virginia, we pour that heritage into every piece we make.

Our Story

What started as a boyhood task has now become my business. In the interim, I worked in construction, and went to school, earning my Bachelors Degree, then teaching middle school math for 5 years! Officially launched in 2020, I've come back to the satisfaction of cutting, stitching, tooling and creating masterpieces that make my customers proud. Every holster, toolbelt, wallet, and accessory that leaves my shop carries with it the skill and dedication of a tradition we're proud to carry forward.

The Craft

We work with high quality full-grain leather from both domestic and imported sources.  No two hides are exactly alike, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. Each item is cut, shaped, and finished by hand in Virginia, right here in the USA.
